BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Ultra Mega Links was created by ¡DavE!, webmaster of ¡DavE!'s Whirled Wide Web!. The site was originally Created on 25 August 1999. The site was located on Crosswinds. Eventually ¡DavE! started his own server datombar.com and decided to move all of his sites over there. The rebuild started back in 2001, Unfortunately due to a hard drive crash on both ¡DavE!'s drive and Crosswinds, The Ultra Mega Links site was lost and the remodel was put off indefinatly. A temporary version of Ultra Mega links was soon set up and organized links by month they were posted at ¡DavE!'s Whirled Wide Web! and not by category as they are today. With the help of  Internet Archive, we were able to re build Ultra Mega Links to what it was before the drive crashes. Thus the site you see today includes most of the orginal Ultra Mega Links content. The rebuild of Ultra Mega Links started in March of 2003. It took approximately 25 days to start and complete this site. All of the pages have been renamed and rebuilt from scratch. In May of 2004, ¡DavE!'s Whirled Wide Web! Stopped it's monthly publication an became a historical marker. Because of this Ultra Mega Links is also no longer update.
