Welcome to the tricks pages...
Here are some cool trick ideas that we have come up with. Try these at your own risk!
Creepy Candy Dish
This is a fun trick. Go to the local grocery store and get a package of Macaroni noodles. Cook the noodles only. Do not make the dinner. Make sure to cool off the noodles. Then put the macaroni noodles in a bowl and mix with the candy packages that you are handing out. When your trick or treaters come to the door, they will reach into a weird feeling bowl for their candy.
Ghosts:
For this trick you will need some tissue paper, Dum Dums suckers, twistie ties and a felt pen.
Wrap the tissue around one end of the sucker leaving the bottom area where the stick is open. Tie at the base of the sucker top around the stick. Make a face with a felt pen. You have suckers that look like ghosts.
Fog:
You don't have to get a fog machine to make fog. It's easy. All you need is a bucket and some dry ice. If you get dry ice, DO NOT EVER TOUCH IT OUR EAT IT AS DRY ICE IS VERY DANGEROUS!!! If you go to the grocery store, you may be able to find dry ice in the butcher block. Some areas may require a license to handle dry ice. The dry ice will create fog naturally as it melts.
Flying Critters:
Make flying bats, spiders or whatever plastic creepy things you have. It's easy. You will need two hooks. Place one hook in your ceiling above the doorway. Measure the door in your doorway. From the hook you placed in the ceiling, place the next hook the width of your door plus two inches away from the first hook. Tie a string to the door. Guide the string to the first hook and then to the second hook. From the second hook drop the string one or two feet down and then tie the critter to the string. Now open the door. The critter will drop down when the door opens and go back up when it closes!
