| E-bay the internets first autioneer
has had a rather strange bunch of items being posted for sale. Earlier
last week someone posted an add soliciting bids for a kidney on the auction
site. The kidney got bids in the millions however it is illegal to sell
body parts in the United States. Then this week, someone put a bid in to
sell babies. Ebay pulled both the kidney and the baby ads. |

| This week the internet turned 30!!!
That's right 30?! The internet was created as an expriment in 1969 for
the United States. Originally it was designed to communicate openly between
military sites in case of a war. It was designed for multiple computers
incase one site went down. The first two computers connected were about
the size of a refrigerator. Today's computers are about the size of a notebook. |

25 August to 31 August 1999
Dammit! I hate government and red
tape. We got a letter from the school districkt about Serena's education.
We decided to put her through another year of Eceap. But now the district
says we make too much. So I am going to fight. Serena is at her grandparents
this week. I miss her so much. The good thing is I finally got 3/4ths of
the house clean. And it is staying clean.

OF THE WEEK |
| Well folks, this is it. The last
complaint of the week. I started this area with the original site with
the intent to Chip my teeth over something weekly. Well the truth of the
matter is, I'm sick of bitching. So This will be my last until maybe next
year sometime. I have decided for a long time that this would happen.
I just didn't know how to end it. So until the end of September, I will
be running the Best of complaints of the week. Which are complaints from
the past. After that, who know's what will appear here. I'm thinking of
maybe a positive piece I don't know, any suggestions? =-) |
