STATE TEACHERS TO STRIKE!!!
LITTLE PAY, LONG HOURS AT ISSUE
Teachers in several school districts are planning to call in sick in the next couple of weeks to bring attention to the state that they need a pay raise. Teachers in Washinton have not seen a pay raise in four years. Meanwhile cost of living has gone up. The strike will only last one day. Right now no dates have been set but it looks like the strike will happen between April 19-22.

This weeks brain teaser
Say there are two couples who live next door to each other in a duplex. Their names are on a card in the shared hallway as follows:
E R N E S T
E S T H E R
L E S T E R
T E R E S A
Because the names look too confusing, they ask thier landlord to separate them with three pencil lines, like this:.
E R N E S T
E S T H E R
L E S T E R
T E R E S A
But their landlord says he found a cheaper way to do it with only two pencil lines. How does he do it?
Answers appear next week
¡DavE!'s NEWS
25 March to 30 March
This week went by fast but who's complaining? I've had no luck with the car. It's still down. I hope to have it up soon because it sure is a pain to have to use the bus. Serena and Stef stayed the night Saturday and we colored Easter eggs and had a blast making Play doh. It was a pretty fun week.

COMPLAINTS OF THE WEEK
This week, A school in Seattle is going to be closed so the teachers can have a one day strike so they can get a raise. Washington state teachers want a well deserved 15% raise. The state however is being a grinch and thinks money could be better spent. I think this is terrible. personally teachers deserve a lot more than a fifteen percent raise. They spend all day at school dealing with kids. Many of them don't make enough money to make ends meet. I think it's sad that the State won't consider the raise. After all none of us would be where we are today if it wasn't for our teachers. So is it really fair for us to make more than they do?=-)
