Dear Journal,
Well I finally started my long
awaited vacation this week. First on Saturday Serena and I went to Canada
with family and shopped around at the Granville Market. It was fun but
expensive. I can't believe the prices they pay in Canada. Oh Well I took
back some Mackintosh bars as a consolation. On Sunday we went to
the park to go swimming. On Monday we stayed home but had a party for my
mom and dad who celebrated their 32 wedding anniverary. We had cake and
ice cream. For dinner we had a barbeque. Hot dogs and chips. Tuesday we
went to sthe Supermall of the great north west, Ikea, and Boeing surplus.
I finally got a printer for this comuputer. Well I got to go finish my
vacation. So 'till next week happy surfing!

This week"Hand-me-downs"
This week for my daughter's birthday,
I decided to give her my old Lego's. This was the time I was waiting for.
I got them out and hand cleaned each one. As I was going through the box,
I couldn't help but think back to the memories that i had. Like the time
my sister and I built a Lego village complete with houses, schools, and
shopping centers. Or the time I built the Space Needle complete with moving
elevators. Lego is the toy that builds memories. And it has still lived
on today. The only comparable thing to Legos today is Sim City, but you
cant touch sim city or build your own buildings. |
