 What
a sad day in Television today. Shari Lewis Passed away from cancer. She
was age 65. Lewis is best known as the sidekick to Lambchop, the puppet
she created for her debut in the mid1950's on Captain Kangaroo. Lewis had
a number of T.V. shows under her belt, Including one in development for
PBS. Lewis also authored over 65 Children's books. Shari Lewis will surely
be missed. |

Nicks is being stalked, Now A man was killed this week at one of her concerts.
The inciedent happened when a man who was fighting with his wife, climbed
a light pole and hung himself with battery cables at the concert. No one
else was hurt in the incident. |

Thank goodnes it wasn't as hot
as last week. I started off the week by having a mini hi school reunion
at my house with four close freinds from that era. I also got someone hooked
on the net. Work was a real challenge this week and i'm going to start
looking for a new job soon. i realize my net worth and I am just not getting
it where I work now. Serena came over Saturday and on Sunday, we went on
a picnic in the park. Monday we were supposed to go to a barbeque but wires
got crossed and I am hiolding off till next week. Today was a lazy day.
I had promised myself to do housework, but instead, I just ended up cleaning
the kitchen(good thing too because there were other life forms growing
in my refrigerator.) and resting the most of the day. The sad thing about
this week, Shari Lewis passed away. I loved shari and I will miss
her dearly. Well, till next time, take care.

This week an old friend passed
away. Her name was Shari Lewis. Inever met Shari, but having watched
many of her shows through the years, I felt as if I knew her. Shari touched
childrens lives unlike any other performer. She knew how children felt
and how to deal with problems and how to address them. What a shock it
was yesterday to hear on the radio she had passed away. How could that
be, I just saw her on t. v. yesterday. Oh well. I guess I can still see
her on video. . . .
Sometimes modern day technology
is great I guess.
