| ¡Top
rated show, leaves little fanfare! |
| MTV's "The Real World" finished
shooting it's seventh season this week. The show had been filming in Seattle
since January at a rented space on Seattle's waterfront. The cast
was not welcomed with open arms to the city. Some mishaps included bomb
threats at the set, and the cast getting booed out of clubs. As well as
a cast member leaving the show halfway through. Throughout the filming
the cast was written about in the Stranger magazine who devoted a column
to "Real World Bashing" After the cast left, many in the community said
good rittance. The show premiers wednesday. |
| ¡FBI
releases "Secret" documents over the web! |
| The FBI released several once confidential
documents for public viewing this week on their web site. Some of the files
you can read are on Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball, Mickey Mantle, Bonnie
and Clyde, and John Lennon. The FBI posted it on the web because
of convenience. For someone to view these files off-line, they would have
to wait two days for clearance. Online you can read the files instantly. |

¡Hey There!
Started off this week by taking
Serena to the Salty Sea Days Festival in Everett. Ouch what a rip off.
I want to start my own carnival so I can make money. Serena
wanted to go on all of the "Evil" rides but I made her stick with the more
traditional "Kiddie" rides. I know now however, that I am in trouble when
she gets older. Afterwards we went to the park and she played on the slides
and swings. Same fun only free.
I also started rearranging my house
this week in regards to the principals of feng shie. So far the only big
thing I've gotten from the book, was to not have your bed against the wall.
I started working on some new "musings"
for my song book that I will hopefully publish online in July or August.
Well take care and as always,
Happy Surfing!

| ¡And
now for !'s opportunity to chip his teeth! |
| This week is the season premiere
of MTV's the Real world. The show puts a group of strangers together in
an upscale apartment and films their lives for about six months and then
airs everything including dirty laundry on tv. I have never seen the show
myself, but from what i've heard, I really have no desire too.
I know if I were writing the show,
I would have made it live up to it's title. Instead of a posh waterfront
apartment which really doesn't exist in the real world, I would have put
seven people in a three bedroom apartment on Queen Anne. Just Like the
Art Institute does for it's dorm rooms. Instead of working at a radio
station., I would have had them working at Starbucks, or Buckys, or Tower
Records. The place where most people that age work. Last but not least,
the cast would have to ay for everything themselves. After all a show that
claims to be the "Real World" should in fact be "the Real World" |
