Zero Changes back to Offramp! |
| Seattle club Subzero announced
this week it is going back to the Offramp cafe. In addition, it will go
back to playing Alternative bands. Currently it is a Heavy metal venue.
In addition, The famous "Hash after the Bash" will return as well. Could
this be the start of the Seattle Music Scene all over again? Well if you
remember back to the early 90's/late 80's. we had one venue in town for
bands to play. Then Overnight, clubs opened everywhere. Hopefully this
is the start of something big again.. |

Marie Presley to follow in her father's footsteps! |

record an album to be distributed by Capitol records. The album will include
original music and will be released next year. |
| ¡Bob
Hope is alive-dispite other reports! |
| You may have heard Bob Hope died
this week. Apparently , the associated press had a pre written memo ready
in case he died. My question is.. What does the media know that we don't? |

Finds! - |
| This week's rare find is one of
my favorite stores"Trader Joe's" Check it out for natural foods as well
as those hard to find crackers and chips,. Great place to get snacks for
parties too. The best thing is everything is affordable! |
| ¡Tip
of the Week! |
| Don't you hate it when you have
a kitchen scrubber or tupperware that gets stained with tomato sauce? I
do too, but now days I don't worry about it because I have a solution that
erases the stain away and it's already in your kitchen! Mayonnaise. Just
rub a little mayonnaise on the scrubber or spatula and the stain will wipe
away! |
| ¡The
couch Potato! |
| This week check out nick at night
for the Brady Bunch. I used to watch this show when I was a kid and it's
just as funny now as it was back then. You too will be saying Marcia, Marcia,
Marcia soon. |

¡Hey There!
Well this week, Serena Started
her first day of pre school. But it was daddy who didn't want to let her
go. I just can't believe it's that time already. The time goes by so fast.
I took her out afterwards and bought her an after school treat. I
think she enjoyed it. The big news was the Offramp is back. When I heard
that, It was like I had begun to wake up from a bad nightmare. Now if only
The Backstage, and the weathered wall-the purity remains the same, and
Mad Dogs would return, it would be a dream come true. Well take care and
as always,
Happy Surfing!

This week, I was surprised
to read in the Seattle Times, an article about how Microsoft was
going to post a new web page called Terra Server.
Terra Server brings you images
of the earth Via Satellite. You click on an area of the world, for instance
Seattle Washington. Then an aerial view of Seattle shows on your screen.
If you keep clicking on the image, you can get a close up view of the city.
Microsoft says that you will be able to get so close, that you can tell
buildings and cars just not people.
At first I thought that this was
a great idea. Hell now I could visit anywhere in the world and get an aerial
view of it, without spending lots of dough or flying on a plane. But after
thinking about it, I couldn't help but wonder if this was just an attractive
nuisance. Sure it's fun to be able to see where you live on the net, but
what's next seeing what you do in your own home? Is big brother really
Bill Gates in disguise? Sure I would be lying if I said that I will never
visit the site. Hell I'm even going to post the link here on this site.
But while I'm enjoying my "virtual " guilty pleasure, I won't be able to
stop from wondering if this is the beginning of the end. |
