¡Rare Finds!
This week's rare find is the Channel 9 store in Seattle. Channel 9  is the public broadcasting station in the Seattle Area. The store features things that are on channel 9. It's not pricey either. I picked up a book for Serena for only $4.95.
¡Whats New!
-Busy day. I finally got the web counter up and running on the main page. I had problems doing that since I moved the site over the weekend. Updated the April feature of the month page. Added a new page, Past Newsletters.
-Added a new page. ¡Archive!, Check out ¡Archive! for links to What's new, past feature of the month and past newsletters.
-Finished updating pages tonight. Added a new section. ¡DavE!'s Portfolio. When it's done, it will include a copy of my resumè, songs, writtings, poems, art, business card and even stuff about me. I expect to have it fully operational by the first week of June. I am planning to have a "Grand Opening" to my site in mid June.
-Nothing Big. Just updated links and index page.
¡Favorite Quote of the week!
"May all your troubles last as long as your New Years Resolutions."-Joey Adams

¡Journal!
Well what a week this has been. First I went to the Street Fair last Sunday. I didn't do much on Monday. On Tuesday , I went down to Seattle to visit friends. It was the day that all of the pagers went out. There was something strange in the air. Every time I saw a woman, she was with another woman talking about how she just dumped her ex-boyfriend. But the real fun thing was when I took a bus to the Universtiy Village, the bus driver got lost. What are the odds?  And let me tell you, it was no picnic. The passengers were helpful in telling the driver where to go on his route.  The good thing is I discovered the Channel 9 store. What a cool place. It's just like visiting the science center only it's a store. Well it's Saturday now, and Serena is coming home tomorrow. I miss her and I'm glad that she is coming back.
¡And now for ¡DavE!'s opportunity to chip his teeth!
This week tragedy struck a Eugene Oregon School  when 15 Year old Kip Kinkel Killed 2 students and his parents. This type of tragedy seems to be something that is happening more frequently these days. My question is why did this tragedy happen in the first place? What kind of person would let ther children have access to carrying a gun? I find this quite disturbing as a parent and as a member of society. What ever happended to the good old days when the biggest threat at school was fistfights and name calling? I'm not saying that these are any better, but the consequinces are only limited to one person. and not an entire community.
