| Seattle's world's fair was about science and how things
would be in the future. Here are some things that were predicted in the
future in 1962.
The House of the future...
According to Century 21, the house of the future would have A one unit
utility core that supplies the heating, plumbing and wiring and automatic
climate control. The house would have a built in Vaccum system that would
keep the house free of dust.
Furnature would be lightweight foamed plastics. Dishes would be disposable.
The home's color scheme could change at the flick of the switch.

Commuters would commute by a gyrocopter which takes off from a provate
heleport. Or take a monorail which would be the transportation system of
the future.
General Motors had a car called the Firebird III. This car had no steerling
wheel and was controlled by a control stick. It is also guided by a safety
cable that would have been imbedded in the road.
Agriculture
Farms would be covered in plastic domes that could be climate controlled
and placed anywhere in the world.
