Club Chita's 8p.m.
What a surprise! The gang is at Chitas saying good-bye to each other.
...
"Well" said Celeste "I should have known you would have thrown me a
surprise party."
"Yeah and who would have known You would have thrown me one" Said Caleb.
"Hey Everybody I want to say something. I just want to say this has been
a very strange year. Celeste and Mikah are moving away. I'm going to college
and I'm going to miss each and everyone of you.
"Well" Said Kjercia "This won't be the last time you will see us."
"What do you mean?" Asked Caleb
"I mean" said Kjercia "Velma and I are going to the airport to see
you and celeste and Mikah off tomorrow"
"I'm going to miss you guys" Said caleb
"Hey everybody" Said Celeste "Lets go dance"
Mikah and Celeste celeste followed by Velma and Tim, followed by Kjercia
and Art on the dance floor. Caleb alone stayed behind.
"I'm going to miss you guys... So much" He said quietly. Just then
someone touched him on his shoulder. It was Charlene |

Meanwhile back at Cyndi's...
"SO this is your last chance" Said Cyndi "You fuck me over this time
and there won't be a next time... IN fact there won't be a time in your
life at all.
"Yes Ma'am" Said Rusty
"The only reason I'm letting you do this, is because I'm in a bind"
Said Cyndi. "This is big money. I better see $1000.00 Tonight."
"Yeah and if you fuck her over" Said rusty's brother Bob "I'll personally
hold you responsible"
"Now the person you are supposed to meet is at the pie shop" Said Cyndi.
"Here's the directions" She handed him a piece of paper. "And here's the
goods. Don't get caught either." |

Meanwhile back at Chita's
"What are you doing here" Said Caleb coldly.
"I heard you are leaving town" Said Charlene "I just wanted to say
good-bye.... and that I'm sorry things didn't work out"
"Gee thanks" Said Caleb sarcastically "Why don't you get a knife out
and stab me in the back too."
"Caleb" Said Charlene "I don't want to leave like this. I really am
sorry"
"Charlene" said Caleb "It's too late for sorry's. Last week maybe,
Even Yesterday but now it's too late."
Caleb Paused
"But I don't want us to leave like this either" said Caleb "You know,
this night is about new beginnings. I think I can be happy as friends."
Charlene Smiled. Just then Dawna walked up and gave Caleb a big hug.
"Hey there Doll face." Said Dawna
"Hey" Said Caleb
Just then Celeste came up. "What in the hell are they doing here."
"Celeste" Caleb Said "It's a night of new beginnings for all of us.
They came to wish us good-bye and make peace before we go."
"Well" Said Celeste "I suppose it's ok. As long as you don't try anything
funny."
"Hey Where'd Mikah Go?" Asked Caleb
"He went to play pool with a friend of his from school" Said Celeste
"Hey Caleb" Said Charlene "Let's go dance one more time"
Charlene and caleb went out on the dance floor. Just then someone
came up to Celeste. It was Sally

Meanwhile at the pie shop....
A guy named max came up to Rusty.
"so you got the stash?" said Max
"Yes" said Rusty "You got the Cash?"
The both showed each other the goods.
"All right" Said Max "Let's switch"
The both exchanged envelopes. "You know you're pretty hot" Said Max
"want to make some extra cash?"
"I don't think so" Said Rusty "I have to get going"
Rusty took off and headed for Chitas. |

Meanwhile back at Chita's...
"Oh my god" said Celeste giving sally a hug "Honey I've missed you."
"I've missed you too" Said Sally "You were right about Terry. I left
him"
"oh that's the best news" Said Celeste
"I"m staying at my mom's" Said Sally
"Well I have some big news too" said Celeste "I'm moving"
"What?" Said Sally "I'm moving to finland. I got accepted in the exchange
group program"
"Oh Celeste that's wonderful" Said Sally |

Meanwhile at the snack bar...
Kjercia bumped into John.
"What are you doing here?" Kjercia asked
"Partying" Said John "Well if it isn't Kjercia"
"Well that's cool" Said Kjercia "Taking advantage of anyone else tonight?
or should I say 'Playing Pool?' Kjercia started to walk off.
"Hey I'm sorry" said John "I didn't mean for things to happen that
way."
"Me too" Said Kjercia |

| Meanwhile back in the parking lot of chita's. Rusty found Velma's car.
"I'm going to say good-bye to Caleb" He said to himself "and then I'm leaving
town for good." He started walking towards Chita's. "Wait Everyone will
be there" He thought for a minute. "Velma's trunk. That's it." he thought.
"I'll get in the trunk and hide overnight and go to the airport and say
good-bye.... And then I'll use this money to start over someplace else"
Velma's trunk never was secure and everyone who knew her knew it. Rusty
opened the trunk. "Good-bye Marysville" He yelled "And Fuck you Aunt Cyndi"
He climbed in and closed the hood. It would be a long night until tomorrow. |

Meanwhile back in chita's...
[Club D.J.-Last call]
"Ok everyone here's the plan for tomorrow. Mikah and Solange and I
are riding in Mikah car together to the airport." said Caleb "We will meet
at Velma's at Noon"
"And Kjercia, art, Tim and Me will all follow you" Said Velma
[Club D.J.-Ok everyone it's the last dance]
"Uh Mikah do you mind if Celeste and I have the last dance" Asked Caleb
"Go right ahead" Said Mikah
They went out onto the dance floor
"You know" Said Celeste "For the first time in our lives everything
is working out"
"It is isn't it" Said Caleb "I'm sure going to miss these guys"
"Me too" Said Celeste
"But most of all... "Said Caleb "I'm going to miss you" |

The big day arrives...
Celeste, Mikah and Caleb arrive at Velma's House. Velma, Kjercia, Tim
and Art are in the car waiting for them. Oh and Rusty in the trunk...
"Hey" Said Celeste "Can I put this bag in the trunk"
"Sure" Said Velma
Rusty's ears perked up. He got a rope and tied the latch and pulled.
Velma got out of the car and tried to lift the hood.
"That's strange" said Velma "The latch must be stuck"
"Let me try" Said Tim. He got out and tried.
"Weird" Said Tim "now it's working the other way."
"Oh well" Said Celeste "Ill just hold it"
and the gang all left. |

At the airport everyone got out of the car. Rusty waited about a half
an hour just to be safe and got out of the trunk. He went inside. Meanwhile
at the gates. Celeste's and Mikah plane was leaving first. The gang was
at their gate saying good-bye.
[Announcer Flight 242 to Finland Now Boarding]
"Well Guys" Said Celeste this is it. Caleb turned around. He was going
to cry. Celeste Went over to Kjercia.
"Now you and art and the little one come over to visit someday." She
said as she hugged Kjercia
"And Velma" she said "Thanks for the fun"
Next was Caleb.
"Ah Caleb" Said Velma "We're going to go get some coffee. We'll meet
you at the gate." The four left
"I promised myself I wouldn't cry" said Caleb
"Me too" Said Celeste with tears in her eyes
"8 years" Said Caleb
"Caleb" said Celeste "We will see each other again"
"I know" said Caleb "Well you better go catch your flight Mikah is
waiting for you and Arizona is waiting for me. WHo knows maybe I'll get
lucky enough to finally meet stevie Nicks."
They hugged good-bye. Celeste started to walk away.
"Celeste Wait" Shouted Caleb. He ran up to her and hugged her again
and handed her an envelope. "don't Read this until you get on the plane."
Celeste walked onto the plane. Ten minutes later the plane started
pulling out of the gate. Caleb watched it go. In tears... |

The gang was there waiting for Caleb. The walk from Celeste's plane
to Caleb's helped him gain back his composure. Rusty was two gates away
waiting. . .
"Caleb" said Velma "The just started boarding for your flight"
"Well we should probably say our good-byes" said caleb
"I'm going to miss you so much" Said Caleb to Kjercia
"Velma. I have a favor. If you ever see rusty, can you give him this
note?" asked Caleb
"Sure" Said Velma "I'll make sure he gets it"
"Well" said Caleb "I'll be back in two years. YOu better all be married"
Caleb walked onto the plane. After seeing Celeste, Mikah and Caleb
leave, the gang was in tears. |

Meanwhile on the plane Celeste was reflecting.
"I'm going to miss them" Said Celeste "But in away, I'm glad to be
starting over."
"Same here" Said Mikah "Well I mean that you are starting over with
me."
He smiled at her. "Hey are you going to open that letter from Caleb?"
"Oh yeah" Said Celeste "I'm so emotional right now I forgot"
she opened it up.
My dearest Celeste,
Well today is the first time, I have ever flown. I wish you were here
with me. Cause I know it's your first time too. But, something tells me
you won't be back. I hate that. Cause i'm coming back in two years and
you won't be there. It's odd. DOn't get me wrong, If you were moving with
one of your ex boyfriends I would fight you going tooth and nail but Mikah
different. You two love each other and deserve each other.
I hope all the best and can't wait for the wedding. I guess the whole
thing is for the first time in 8 years there is no celeste. But then, I
forget about the phone, the mail etc. that can keep us closer. I'm going
to miss you Celeste. Now as soon as you are done reading this. I want you
to put away the tears and hold up a glass and toast to Mikah. Toast to
New beginnings. Cause that's what this is about right now. One more thing,
I have one wish for you. It's that we will always be best friends. But...
I already know that wish will come true...

Celeste was in tears. She hugged Mikah.
"Ok we have to do a toast" Said Celeste
Mikah held up his glass.
"To new beginnings" Said Celeste "And to the best summer ever." |

Caleb sat down in the seat. He had never flown before. He looked out
the window. He was too emotional to be aware of his surroundings. "This
is stupid." he thought "I'm going to see everyone again in two years. Well
Except Celeste" The plain was about to take off. Caleb looked around. He
noticed in the seat next to him was Rusty.
"What in the hell are you doing here?" Asked Caleb
"I was wondering if you would ever notice me." Said Rusty "I've been
sitting here for about ten minutes"
"Rusty look I don't want to see you" Said Caleb
"WEll for the next hour or so you don't have a choice" Said Rusty
"I don't know why you are going on this flight with me... It's pretty
sick. Are you stalking me?" Asked Caleb
"No." Said Rusty "I'm leaving here for good besides if you are still
mad at me what was in the note you gave to velma?"
Caleb felt on the spot.
"Look Rusty" said Caleb "It just said good bye and that I cherished
your friendship and was sorry for being a dick the other night when I kicked
you out."
"Oh" Said Rusty "See"
"See" Mimicked Caleb
"See" Mimicked Rusty back
"so I suppose you will need a place to stay in Arizona" Said Caleb
"No" Said Rusty "I'm just there for a layover"
"What?" Said caleb surprised
"I'm actually going to New Jersey" Said Rusty "I'm going to go live
with my sister denise"
"OH" Said Caleb "But you will be back again someday"
"Probably not" Said Rusty "I did another run for Aunt Cyndi last night
to pay for the trip. And if she ever finds me I'm dead"
"So after today we will say good-bye" Said caleb "Forever"
"Hey you could always visit me in New Jersey" Said Rusty
"Yeah I could" Said Caleb "but... I'm going to miss you"
"I'm going to miss you too bud" Said Rusty |

Their plane landed at the airport. Caleb and rusty had some coffee
and then Caleb walked Rusty to the gate.
"Well" Said Caleb "This is it"
"Yeah" Said Rusty "this is it"
The two hugged each other and kissed each other good bye.
"I love you Rusty" Said Caleb "I will never forget you"
"I love you too bud" Said rusty and he turned and walked on the plane.
Caleb felt wrought. He walked down the corridor reflecting on the past
year. He stopped at the gift shop.
"Are you ok" Asked the salesperson
Caleb paused. He must have looked like he just walked out of a funeral.
Then he realized that everything was ok. And that those memories he had...
Well they were just Evidence of the past...To keep him entertained in the
present as he walks into the future.
"Yes." Smiled Caleb "I think I am" |
