This month's scene opens up in the Pie Shop...
"Well this sucks" said Caleb "You don't have a boyfriend, I don't have
a girlfriend and here it is the summer."
"Ahem... I still have a boyfriend" Celeste corrected Caleb "Besides,
why don't we just go to Chita's this weekend? We can get you fixed up"
"Yeah- Maybe you're right" Said Caleb "Besides it would be nice
to get out for a change."
"Hey, Sally and I are going to Strawberry Festival thursday for the
rides, wanna Join us" Asked Celeste
"Sure" Said Caleb "It will be a date. This weekend. Thursday the strawberry
festival, Friday Chita's. Saturday we will see what goes on from there." |

Meanwhile... Over at Rusty's house...
"So You are finally leaving Caleb's to come back over here boy?" Asked
Rusty's dad.
"No" Said Rusty "I just came to get my stuff and meet Bob"
"Well" Said Paul" I gave your stuff away"
Bob Walked in
"Hey Bro" Said Bob "Dad I need to talk to Rusty Alone"
"Sure Thing" Said Paul Sr. "But I don't want him here at this house
anymore"
Paul Sr. Left
"What a dick" Said Rusty
"Well don't worry about that now" Said Bob "I've got a job for you"
"What?" Asked Rusty
"Friday Night I want you to go make a drop for me" Said Bob "You can
pick up the stuff at Aunt Cyndi's in the Morning and have Caleb Take you
There Friday Night. It's your Cousin Dave's."
"What are we dropping?" Asked Rusty
"some Coke" Bob Paused "You know Cocaine"
"Caleb Will Freak" Said Rusty "He's not into that"
"There's $100.00 in it for you," Said Bob
Rusty Paused for a moment
"Look Bob, I don't know about this." Said Rusty "What if we get Caught?"
"Rusty" Said Bob Assuringly "You won't get caught and don't tell Caleb
A thing. Just say you are going to a party. I'd do it but I have a run
out in Snohomish to do. Besides it's a hundred dollars."
"I could use the money" Said Rusty "Ok I'll do it, but just this once" |

Later that day at Kjercia's er I mean Barbara's house
"Kjercia!" Yelled Barbara from the other room "Come Take Jonathan!"
Kjercia looked at Velma "Jesus, having a kid is not all it's cracked
up to be"
She went and got Jonathan
"Can I hold him" Said Velma
"Be my guest" Said Kjercia She handed Velma the baby. Jonathan calmed
down. Kjercia lit a cigarette.
"God he is yours" Said Kjercia
"I want one so bad" Said Velma "It's just... finding the right man."
"Got your sites set on anyone" Asked Kjercia
"Well" Said Velma timidly "Don't tell anyone but I really want Caleb"
Kjercia's face lit up "NO SHIT!!!"
"Yes" said Velma "I have a crush on him."
"Well than I think you should go after him" Said Kjercia "Besides didn't
he just break up with that Charlene Chick?"
"Yes and No" Said Velma "They did but he still is sprung on her"
"Wow!" Exclaimed Kjercia "It's like a freaky soap opera. Caleb wants
Charlene and you want Caleb!"
"Tell me about it" said Velma
"Well" Said Kjercia "Maybe we should scheme together"
"Nah" Said Velma "I want to do this on my own."
"Well Ok" Said Kjercia "Hey can you do me a favor and put Jonathan
Down?"
"Sure" Said Velma. She left.
"Hmmmm" Said Kjercia slyly "I bet I could fix them up no problem.
I know what I'll do, I'll invite Caleb and Velma to Cheetahs this weekend
and have them run into each other."
Kjercia dialed Caleb's Number.
"Hello?" Said the voice on the other end
"Hey Caleb this is Kjercia"
"hey how's it going. HOw's the baby?" Asked Caleb
"Won't let me sleep but otherwise fine" said Kjercia
"That's good" Said Caleb
"Hey what are you doing Friday?" Asked Kjercia
"Going to Chita's with Celeste" Said Caleb
"Good" said Kjercia "I'll see you there"
"Cool" Said Caleb "I'll be on the prowl. Charlene and I broke up."
"Perfect" Said Kjercia "Look, I have to go put Jonathan down"
"Ok" said Caleb see you friday"
Kjercia hung up the phone. Velma came back in.
"hey what are you doing Friday?" Asked Kjercia
"Nothing" Said Velma
"Come to Chita's with me" Said kjercia "It will be fun"
"sure" Said Velma |

Thursday afternoon at Caleb's
"Hey what are you doing Friday?" Asked Rusty
"Going to Chita's with Celeste" said Caleb "Want to Join us?"
"Well" Said Rusty "I have been invited to a party at my cousin Dave's
and wanted to know if you wanted to come?"
"Hmm" said Caleb "That sounds like fun but I promised Celeste..."
"Caleb" Said Rusty "You can go to chita's any time with Celeste. Just
tell her you are sick on Friday"
"Well I'll think about it" Said Caleb "I have to go, I'm supposed to
meet them at Strawberry Festival"
"Yeah I better go to" Said Rusty "I have to run home and find some
things before my dad get's back" |

Later at STrawberry Festival... Sally, Celeste and Caleb are deciding
on what ride to go onto.
"HOw about we start out with something simple" Said Caleb
"Oh I like that one" Said Celeste
"The scrambler?" said Sally
"Sure" Said Celeste "The three of them got on"
"Hey guys" said Caleb "did you notice the ride operator winked at you?"
They got on for the ride of their lifetime.... The ride ended
"Hey you guys want another ride free?" asked the ride operator
"Sure" Said Sally
Five minutes later the ride stopped and the operator came over to them
"Hey I'm terry" he said looking at Sally " What's your name"
"I'm sally and this is my friends Celeste and Caleb" she said
"well Sally How would you and your friends like another ride on the
house?" Said Terry
"Sure" said Sally
"You know" Said Caleb "If I didn't know any better, I would think he
likes you."
"He does" Said Celeste
"I think he's cute" Said Sally
They rode the ride again. The ride ended. Terry walked over to the
gang.
"So, if you want off this ride, I want a date with you." Said Terry
"Hmmm" Said Sally "I'll think about it"
"Ok" said Terry "Have another ride"
"Sally" Said Celeste "He's old enough to be your father."
"ONe date won't hurt" Said Sally
"Well" Said Caleb "Come with us to chita's tomorrow and meet him there"
"Yes" Said Celeste "That way we we'll know you are safe"
"Ok" Said Sally" I'll let him know after this ride is over" |

Friday Morning....Aunt Cyndi's house
"Your brother said that you are pretty trustworthy" Said Aunt Cyndi
"Yes Ma'am" Said Rusty
Aunt Cyndi got into his face
"You fuck this up, You steal this coke, or you steal the money and
you will be dead got it? I'm not one to be crossed..."
"Yes I understand" Said Rusty
"Good" Said Cyndi "Want to smoke a bowl?"
"Sure" Said Rusty |

Later That Day...
Caleb was home thinking about what he should do. "It's almost six"
he thought Celeste hasn't called. Maybe she forgot. Should I go with Celeste?
If I go to the party with Rusty.... Who knows what may happen" Caleb Paused
"Rusty's cousin Dave is pretty Wild. I'll call Celeste and tell her I'm
sick" Caleb called Celeste. He got the machine. He left her a message and
told her he was sick. Right after he hung up the phone he got a call. "Oh
no" he thought "What if that's Celeste. Maybe I didn't sound sick enough"
"Hello"
"Dave can you come pick me up?" Said Rusty
"Sure" Said Caleb "Be there in about five" |
