The First Kiss

Later at lunch...
"So John and I broke up. Everything he said
was true and to everyone" Said kjercia.
Caleb wanted to do a happy dance "OH honey,
I'm sorry" said Caleb consoling. "You know I wish I could help you tonight
but I am going out"
"That's ok" Said Kjercia "I'm going to a party"
"Oh really?" said Caleb "who with?"
Kim lit up "These cool friends of mine that
I met. They are batcavers"
"Batcavers" said caleb confused "What the
hell are batcavers?"
"there people who dress in black and wear
black" Said Kjercia
Caleb thought this was just funny but didn't
want to hurt Kjercia. "Well that's cool"
"So are you going out with Celeste and Rusty"
asked Kjercia
"No I'm kinda pissed at them" said Caleb "There
turning into party animals"
"Celeste is just doing it to stand by her
man, and rusty is just doing it to get drunk" said Caleb "I don't think
I want to hang out with that"
"Then who are you going with?" Said Kjercia
"Someone very special...Her name is Charlene"
Said Caleb
"Cool. Caleb's got a girlfriend" said Kjercia
"No no no" said Caleb "But hopefully it will
be...There's just one little problem"
"what" said Kjercia
"She's bisexual"
"so"
"So I don't know if I'm ok with that"
"What's the big deal" said kjercia "I've done
the same sex before"
"really" said Caleb
"yes" said Kjercia "and you should try it
too"
"no thanks" said caleb "well I have to get
to class"
"Have fun tonight" said kjercia
"you too said Caleb" and they kissed good-bye |

The night that Caleb was looking forward too
finally came. After the store closed Caleb and Charlene met at Dawna's
house.
"Well we are almost ready to go" said dawna
"Yes we are just waiting for John" said Charlene
"John is so cool. You will love him and he's totally gay"
"Really" said Caleb "I've never met a gay
person before, well present company excluded"
John came in. He was about 6 foot tall and
blonde and the poster child for homosexuality.
"Hi Honey" John said as he hugged Charlene
and Dawna "and who's this?"
"this is Caleb, otherwise known as doll face"
said dawna
"Hi" said Caleb
"Hi" said John
"Now before we go lets go into my room for
a minute and get ready" said Dawna
Caleb looked confused but followed the gang
into Dawna's room
"Everybody sit on the floor in a circle" said
Dawna
Everybody sat down. Dawna handed Charlene
a glass bottle that looked like it had perfume in it. Chalene opened it
and put some on and handed it to Caleb. "here" said Charlene
"What is it? " Asked Caleb
"It's Patchuly" said Charlene
Caleb smelled it. It smelled like someone
cleaned a house but he put some on anyway he passed the bottle to John.
Then Dawna got a pop can that looked like it had been dented and had a
hole in it and gave it to Charlene. Caleb thought this was strange. Dawna
put some grass on the hole and lit it and smoked from the pop can opening
and passed it to Charlene. Charlene smoked and passed it to Caleb.
"Pot" asked Charlene
Caleb had never smoked Pot before and he felt
if he did this time he would be the world's biggest hypocrite for being
mad at Celeste and Rusty for skipping out on the party last week. But hey
you only live once right. Caleb smoked some and choked.
"Is it supposed to feel like this?" Caleb
said under his breath
"First time there doll face" asked Dawna
"yes" said caleb embarrassed
"Don't worry, hon" said dawna "You'll get
used to it"
"Anybody want an altoid" asked John
Caleb felt like he was from another planet
"what the hell are Altoids?"
"try one doll face" said Dawna "there Just
mints"
Caleb tried one "Wow these are potent. I like
them. Where did you get them"
" any store has them" said Charlene" Should
we go?"
and they left to go to City beat in Seattle.
When they got there Caleb couldn't believe his eyes. All sorts of people
going in and out of this club with dark hair. Alot looked like Ghouls but
oh wait it was Halloween. As they were walking inside a fight started in
the parking lot. A man was yelling from a near by apartment building "God
dammed Faggots" Caleb was unsure about this club. Inside it was dark. The
smell of Cloves filled the air. Dawna and John went to dance. Caleb explored
the surroundings. He definitely felt on cloud 9. There were all sorts of
couples. Gay, straight and lesbian.
"Care to dance" Asked Caleb to Charlene
"Sure" said Charlene
The two danced. After awhile Charlene and
Caleb went to the snack bar and talked.
"I love this place" said charlene
"Yeah it's kind of great" said Caleb
"you know I wouldn't mind making love in a
place like this" said Charlene
Caleb didn't know what to think and just stared
into Charlene's eyes. "Me too" He said
Charlene kissed him. Caleb was now on cloud
nine. It was his first kiss.
The two went back down to the dance floor
and danced. It was a night Caleb would remember forever. |
