Caleb was Fit to
be tied as he was driving home that nigh. Caleb felt betrayed. "How could
they do this to me?" He thought. "I thought they were my friends" But what
Caleb didn't realize was that they were....
When Caleb Got home that night, he was still
stewing.
"Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I called
over to Celeste's and asked her parents if she was home" Caleb wondered.
Caleb decided to call. There was no answer. "Better any ways" thought Caleb,
Celeste may get kicked out. After all These were just Celeste's adopted
parents. Just then Caleb's mom walked in...
"Caleb" Said Caleb's Mom "You got a couple
of messages"
"Oh really" Caleb Perked "Who?"
"Kim Called, she said it was urgent that you
call her tonight"
"Ok"
"Oh and someone named Charlene"
Suddenly Caleb's mood changed. "Charlene,
cool."
"Who is this Charlene?"
"She's just a friend I met at work"
Caleb decided to call Kim first. After all
Caleb's policy in life was to save the best for last... |

Meanwhile.... At the Party...
"So, Celeste" Asked Bob "What did you tell
your parents about tonight?"
"I told them that I was staying with a friend
of mine" Said Celeste
"Cool." Said Bob "Want a bong hit?"
"Sure" Said Celeste.
Marjana wasn't the only drug of choice at
this party, over in the next room, Rusty, Paul and his uncle were at a
table doing lines of Coke.
"Another line?" Said Tom, Rusty's uncle
"Sure" said a barely Coherent Rusty
"So" said an obviously drunk Paul Sr. "Where's
Caleb?"
"He didn't come tonight"
"Probably too much of a prude"
"Dad, Don't say that, Caleb's a cool guy"
"He seems too uppity for me"
"Your just drunk"
"You just can't handle the truth..."
"Well I'm going to bed said Rusty"
"Nite" said Paul "You know Tom, I wonder about
that boy,"
"Why is that" Said a drunk/stoned Tom
"He seems to like Caleb a little too much,
and that Caleb seems pretty faggy to me"
"I wouldn't let it bother you too much Paul"
said Tom "Rusty's a good by and the way you keep women in the house for
them kids of yours, there's no way any of them will be gay"
" True my friend, true" |

Back at Caleb's. Caleb had just gotten off
the phone with Kim. And was about to call Charlene when the phone rang.
"Hello"
"Caleb?"
"Charlene?" Hey how's it going?
"Great, Hey I just wanted to ask you are you
doing anything on Halloween?"
"Just working at the store, I'm going to dress
up as a wizard. What are you going to be?"
"Glenda the Wicked witch of the lesbians"
said Charlene
Caleb Laughed
"Well" said Charlene "John, Dawna and I are
going to the Citybeat. I wanted to know if you wanted to come?"
Caleb was shocked "Sure I'd love too. Are
we going to dressup"
"Nah just come as you are"
"Good will do. Then it's a date"
"Good" said Caleb "I better go. Gotta get
ready for school tomorrow"
"Ok" said charlene "See you tomorrow at work" |
