Our scene opens at the Village pie shop in
Marysville. Caleb and Rusty are having coffee...
"It's been two days now." Said Caleb "I think she would have called
by now. Maybe I was bad in bed"
"Nah Cabe" said Rusty "She's probably really scared"
"Cause she's pregnant" said Caleb
"I doubt she's pregnant" Said rusty "You only fucked her once"
"That's all it takes and besides, the condom broke remember"
"yeah" said Rusty "but you probably have better chance of winning the
lottery."
"I know but it's not only that." said Caleb "Half of me wants to be
a father really bad. The other half wants to go see the world. I mean,
I'm supposed to be going to Arizona Votech next year after I graduate.
If Charlene is pregnant no matter what, I would have to stay here."
"Not unless..." said Rusty "She has an abortion" |

Meanwhile...Charlene was just coming out of the grocery store when
she bumped into Celeste...
"So Charlene" said Celeste "You've got some explaining to do"
"Look I'm in a hurry" Said Charlene
"Not so fast" said Celeste as she grabbed Charlene's arm "I
want to talk to you about Caleb"
Charlene paused "Not here, lets go to my car"
The two got into Charlene's car. As they did Charlene's bag fell
and out came a home pregnancy kit.
Celeste picked it up. "Well, looks like one of my questions have
been answered. Now when are you going to talk to Caleb?"
"Look Caleb is a nice guy, but he's not what I want. I like women,
and that's all there is too it."
"Then you shouldn't have fucked him in the first place" said Celeste
"I know" said Charlene "And I feel bad about that."
"YOu are hurting him more by not talking to him. Look at least let
him down." Said Celeste "You owe him that."
"look, I know you're right" said Charlene "After I do this test,
I'll call him"
"And what if you are pregnant?" Said Celeste
"Look" said Charlene "I don't know. We will just have to wait and
see"
"You better not screw him over" said Celeste
"You mean like you did?" Said Charlene
Celeste looked pissed "That was a mistake we were drunk"
"so it's ok for you to brush us off but it's not ok for me to brush
caleb off."
"No it's not because Caleb loved you and still does"
"It's probably just because we had sex"
"No" Said Celeste "It's because you have been leading him on for
all of these months. Look I've got to go but I better know that you have
called Caleb tomorrow. Or else"
Celeste got out of the car. Mikah was waiting for her in his truck.
"That's Charlene" said Mikah
"Yeah" said Celeste
"You must have been drunk." said Mikah
"I'm really worried about Caleb. SHe's going to fuck him over."
"HOw can anybody do that to him, He's such a cool guy." said Mikah
"I know" Said Celeste |

Meanwhile back at the pie shop...
Caleb and Rusty were finishing up coffee when Velma walked in.
"So" Said Velma "I heard that you had a good time the other night with
Charlene"
"I don't want to talk about it Velma" said Caleb
"The condom broke" Said Rusty
Velma's heart sank
"And he hasn't heard from Charlene since" said Rusty
This was music to Velma's ears
"Well" said VElma "If you need anything I'm here for you"
"Thanks" Said Caleb.
"Hey I have an Idea" Said Rusty "Lets go to the drive in and
catch a movie"
"Sure" said Velma "That will raise your spirits"
"Ok" said Caleb. and they left for the movies. |

Charlene was upset about her conversation that she had with Celeste.
Now in the next five minutes her life could change forever. What if she
was pregnant? What if she wasn't would she marry caleb? Could she even
give up her lifestyle. She decided to check her messages while waiting
for the test.
beeeep "Charlene, this is Caleb... Look It's been two days, I'm worried
about you. Call me"
beeeep "Charlene, this is your sister Deb, Hey I was able to get you
a job. Give me a call."
beeeep "Charlene, this is Caleb... Please call me...I... I... Oh never
mind..."
beeeep "Charlene, this is Celeste, if you don't call Caleb, I will
tell him about our conversation tonight."
"Damm her she thought. Oh well time's up." Charlene headed for the
bathroom where a tiny stick in a cup was waiting for her. She took it out
of the cup and looked at it...
