Velma's Chance

"This is my chance" Velma thought. "I'm
going to spill it to Caleb and then he will be all mine. No more Rusty,
No more Celeste and certainly no more Charlene"
Velma was waiting eagerly for Caleb to show.
"Should I tell him the truth?" but then she decided to tell
an abridge version of the truth after all it would have been too easy for
Charlene, Rusty and Celeste to pin it on her. Caleb finally
arrived.
"look" Said Caleb "You know why I'm here, I want to know what happened
last night between Celeste, Rusty and Charlene"
"I know" Said Velma "And I'm going to tell you the truth,
Nothing happened after you left."
"What" answered a confused caleb
"Yeah Rusty was so drunk he passed out, and Celeste was grossed
out by the whole thing" Thought Velma very proud of herself to come up
with an abridged version of the story.
"Weird" Said Caleb "I was sure that they had..."
"Caleb" said Velma "It's true. I have nothing to hide from you."
Something still didn't gel with Caleb. But he wasn't about to press
on about it. "Hey wanna go to Chita's after coffee?" Said Caleb
velma Perked up "Sure"
They finished their coffee and left. |

Meanwhile at Chita's, Celeste was there with her friend Sally.
"Look I did a terrible thing last night can you keep a secret?"
Asked Celeste
"You know I can" Said Sally
"I cheated on Caleb and what's worse the person I did it with is
a woman"
Sally gave Celeste a look "So what do you feel bad about, doing
it with a woman, Cheating on Caleb or both"
"Both" said Celeste
"Look" Said Sally "Doing it with a woman is no big deal. I've done
it before It's ok."
"yes but that's not me" said Celeste "And what about Caleb"
"Ick" Said Sally "That's a good one. I don't know what to tell you
about that"
Celeste looked up. She saw Caleb and Velma at the door.
"Oh my god" said Celeste
"What is it?" Asked Sally
"HE's here" said Celeste "Remember please keep it a secret"
"Celeste" said sally "It's not my place to step in"
"Hi guys" Said Caleb
"Hi" said Celeste and Sally
"Velma just told me all about the fun you had last night with out
me" Said Caleb
Celeste and Sally exchanged looks
"Yes and how you felt all grossed out about the shower and Rusty
passed out" Velma chimed in
Celeste felt a debt of gratitude toward Velma for covering for her
"Yeah" said Celeste "Nothing against you Caleb"
Caleb now feeling relieved that what Velma said was true said "No
problem I'm kind of glad you didn't do anything. After all to find out
my two best friends had sex with someone who I consider a girlfriend and
the love of my life would just kill me."
"I know" said Celeste "look I'm going to go to the rest room"
"I'll jOin you" said velma
"So Sally" said Caleb "Long time no see"
"Yes and what's this about a new girlfriend...?" |

Meanwhile things were not going well for Rusty. "Boy" said Paul
sr." where the hell were you last night. The house looks like shit."
"I was out with Caleb" Said Rusty
"Well you should have been here" said Paul Sr. "You spend too much
time with him."
"Dad Caleb is my best friend" said Rusty "Besides, why can't Brian
or Bob do this"
"Cause it's your job" Said Paul Sr
"Fuck this" Said Rusty "I'm out of here"
"Boy you leave this house and you will never come back" said Paul
Sr.
"Good" said Rusty and he left the house and slammed the door. |

Meanwhile at Charlene's....
"So what did you do last night" asked Rhanda
"Nothing" just stayed home
"Really" said Rhanda "Then why did I find this in my bedroom" she
held up a condom
"Look Rhanda I can explain"
"Don't bother" said Rhanda "Although what I can't figure out is
did you have sex with a drag queen because this bra doesn't fit either
of us.
"I was with some people I met. We had some drinks and . . . It was
an accident."
"Sure" said Rhanda "I can't do this anymore Charlene. I just can't."
"Rhanda" said Charlene "It won't happen again I promise"
"Your right" said Rhanda "I'm kind of glad this happened.
Mark and I are getting back together. I'm moving back in with him."
"You can't do that" Said Charlene
"I can" Said Rhanda "I'm going over there right now. I'll be back
later to get my things."
Rhanda left out the door. Charlene ran after her crying.
"No, Rhanda, wait please." yelled Charlene
"It's over charlene" Yelled Rhanda driving off
Charlene walked back into the house and got out a bottle of Rum.. |

Back at Chita's Velma and Celeste are in the bathroom talking.
"Thank you, thank you thank you." Said Celeste
"No problem" said Velma
"you like Caleb don't you" Asked Celeste
"Just a little" Said Velma
"Well" said Celeste "It must suck to have him be in love with someone
else"
"Yeah it does" said velma "Look I'm going to run back out there
before they get suspicious."
"YOur right" said Celeste" I'll be right out. Thanks again"
"your welcome" said Velma as she left the rest room.
Celeste finished putting her makeup on and walked out of the rest
room. She accidentally bumped into a very handsome guy
"Oh sorry" said the gentleman
"No I'm sorry" said Celeste as she gazed into his eyes... |
