IT's all fun and games until the cops are
involved...

Friday... the day of the
week you really look forward too when you are in high school. Caleb
was just getting ready to call it a week when Velma came up to his locker.
"So are you going to Tammy's party this weekend?"
Velma asked
"I wasn't invited" Caleb said coldly
"Sure you were" Said Velma "Rusty's going"
Caleb was getting quite annoyed at this... Every time
Rusty was invited somewhere, everyone automatically assumed that Caleb
was going too.
"Yeah Rusty probably did get invited but I didn't"
Said caleb "Besides, I have plans"
"Oh really?" Said velma "What are you doing?"
"Oh going to see Charlene" Said Caleb
"Well" Said Velma "If you change your mind, just stop
by"
Caleb actually didn't have any plans that night. He
hadn't talked to Charlene really and wasn't really doing anything that
night. |

Meanwhile, at the lunchroom...
Rusty was talking to Celeste....
"So are you going to the big party tonight at Tammy's?"
Celeste laughed "Yeah right. A. Tammy and I hate each
other, B. I don't have away to get there"
"What about Caleb?" Asked Rusty
"We're fighting remember?" said Celeste
"Oh yeah" said Rusty "I bet if you guys make up..."
"No way" said Celeste "I'm supposed to be his best
friend and he treats me like this... Just forget it."
"Why don't you come over to my place tonight then?"
Asked Rusty
"Sure" Said Celeste "There's nothing better to do" |

Later that night...
Caleb decided not to go to the party. There really
wasn't a reason to go but he was bored. Caleb decided to go to Seattle.
What else was there to do on a Friday night? "I think I'll see if
Rusty want's to go" thought Caleb. Caleb started to drive over to Rusty's
and see if he is home. As Caleb was driving to Rusty's he noticed Rusty
and Celeste walking up the street.
"Hey Caleb" Said Rusty
"hey" Said Caleb "What are you two doing?"
"Going to see you" Said Rusty
"Uhm" Said Caleb "Celeste and I are fighting"
"We were walking to your house to see you" Said Rusty
"I want you and Celeste to make up"
Caleb didn't answer and looked mad
"You know if he's going to be this way fuck it" Said
Celeste. She started to walk home. Caleb got out of the car.
"Celeste" Said Caleb "Get in the god dammed car"
Celeste got in the car with Rusty. "We're going to
Seattle" Said Caleb
The three started to drive away
"Look Celeste" said Caleb "I don't want to fight either."
"Lets just forget about it" said Celeste
Rusty was happy "Yes, lets just have a good time tonight"
Caleb beamed "I think we will go to the space needle.
My treat"
And off to Seattle they went |

Meanwhile at Tammy's Party...
"I guess CAleb and Rusty aren't coming" Sighed Velma
"I know" Said Tammy "But next week I'm having a bigger
party"
"Really" said Velma
"Yes" Said Tammy "Mom's out of town. In fact, I think
I'll invite everybody."
"Cool" Said Velma" In fact, Tina will be back next
week too."
Tammy held up her glass. "To next week"
Velma raised hers "To next week" |

Celeste, Rusty and Caleb were on their way home from
Seattle.
"I can't believe we missed the monorail back" Said
Caleb
"You know it's not really a far walk back downtown
from the Seattle Center" Said Rusty
"Well either way I had a blast tonight" Said Celeste
" SAme here." Said Caleb "And I'm glad that we made
up"
"Me too" Said Celeste
"And it's all because of me" Said Rusty.
"Ooh my" Said Celeste "That hitchhiker was cute let's
go pick him up."
"IT's too late" Said Caleb" We are getting on the
Freeway"
"Come on" Said Rusty "Just park the car on the side
of the freeway and we will go back up and get him"
"GEe" said Caleb "I don't know"
"Oh come on" Said Celeste
"Well" said Caleb "ok"
They parked the car on the side of the freeway and
started walking back to the off ramp where the hitchhiker was. Just as
they were ten feet away from the car, A swarm of police cars pulled up.
A very studly police officer got out of the car.
"HOld it right there" Said the Cop "Do you want to
tell me why you parked your car here and are walking that way?"
Caleb couldn't think of a reason off the top of his
head. Were they in trouble? Was the is the end? Caleb, rusty and Celeste
all exchanged looks. What will happen? Tune in next month to find out... |
